Serbia is famous for its plum brandy rakija (especially Šljivovica, protected designation since 2007) and quality wines from Fruška Gora. Handmade filigree jewelry and Pirot wool rugs are centuries-old crafts. Ajvar red pepper relish and packaged sweets are popular exports.
